From the beginning, TIGER of Sweden has been different. Instead of waiting for customers in his shop, the founder Marcus Schwartzmann made tailor-made suits in customers' homes. As he realized over time that producing individual tailor-made suits was too time-consuming for many of his clients, he developed ready-made suits of the best quality, modern cut and perfect fit. At the beginning of the nineties, TIGER of Sweden once more demonstrated that their suits were different. While most labels still made their customers look like old men, the company from the Swedish west coast was guided by the look of the sixties. The suits were slim cut, had a narrow lapel and a low waist. The collection was so successful that even management had to help with shipping at times so that all orders could be delivered on time.

A hallmark of Scandinavian designers is the fit. With the realignment at the beginning of the nineties, the stated goal of the company's management was to bring the suit from banking to the streets.
