Almost as good as the outstanding Kyrie 4 predecessor, the Kyrie 5 is a great all-around shoe with just a bit less cushion than expected.
Released on November 16, 2018, the fifth shoe in Kyrie Irving’s signature line is, if history is any indication, likely to be widely super across the NBA. Designed by Ben Nethongkome, the shoe has been well-received by both casual and serious basketball players.
The Kyrie 5 has new articulated forefoot Zoom cushioning and a lockdown system supported by the Flytrap mechanism. Its popularity for its high performance features is matched by the popularity of its designs. Much like the Kyrie 4, the shoe lends itself well to colorways and PEs and Nike has promised that this edition will have even more options from which to choose.
